Robert LeBlanc, Chief Executive Officer
Robert LeBlanc is the founder and CEO of Harbor Lynx, the visionary behind the evolutionary inland river operating system that is Harbor Lynx. Robert is a former Divisional Support Manager at Archer Daniels Midland / ARTCO, as well as the business development and compliance manager at Gulf South Marine Transportation. He holds a BS in Maritime Administration from Texas A&M University and is a former award winner of the Inland Marine Expo 40 under 40 Award (2019).
Robert’s work experience ranges from deck operations to management of vessel crews, national managers and government workgroups and across positions in project development and management, logistics, vessel management and environmental and safety operations. His experience in the inland waterways industry and close proximity to the heart of river operations as a resident of New Orleans shaped his understanding of the needs of those who work on the river and uniquely qualify him to lead the industry into the future. He is fueled by a drive to “Keep Towboatin’ Simple” while the customizable Harbor Lynx system evolves along with the river industry.
Nick Soniat, Chief Technology Officer
Nick Soniat is an experienced Software Engineer as a .NET Developer on the Microsoft stack with over 15 years of technology experience, including management of high-performing technology teams, strategic and customized business analysis, and a deep understanding of best practices in designing, building and supporting software applications.
As CTO of Harbor Lynx, Nick is responsible for development of the integrative technology that constitutes the Harbor Lynx inland river operating system. He has BSE in Electrical/Computer Engineering from Louisiana State University and is a lifetime resident of greater NOLA area.
Tony Geeck, Director of Engineering
Tony Geeck is a pioneer in wireless networking for the inland maritime industry, an expert at obtaining cellular coverage, creator of one of the first computer-based barge dispatch systems on the inland waterways, and one of the industry leaders that worked with USACE and USCG to develop ECS standards for the Inland rivers. He is experienced with all forms of wireless communications, including Satellite, Wifi, PtP, UHF/VHF, Long Range and Telemetry. Tony and Robert LeBlanc have both worked for Fortune 50 companies in management capacities and for the three largest barge lines on the Inland waterways.
